“Fund Finance Partners, which advises asset managers and investment firms seeking subscription credit lines and other fund-level loans, has seen a dramatic increase in calls in recent days from firms looking to re-evaluate their lender and custodial banking relationships, according to Anastasia Kaup, a partner and managing director at the Chicago firm.
‘We typically hear from about five asset managers every week, and have heard from about 30 in the past three days,’ Ms. Kaup said. ‘Asset managers do not like dealing with uncertainty.'”
